We deliver expert care through a combination of telehealth, at-home diagnostics, and in-person visits, partnering with fertility centers, OB/GYNs, and primary care providers to create a seamless, patient-centered experience.
Position Summary
Posterity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve in a dual-function clinical and care coordination role. This position combines licensed nursing responsibilities with patient coordination and operational support functions.
This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys both clinical care and patient interaction, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving healthcare environment.
Position Classification
This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable New York State labor laws. You will be paid on an hourly basis and are eligible for overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care including patient triage, assessment, and education
- Review patient medical history and assess clinical needs
- Educate patients on medications, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Communicate lab results and guide patients through the reproductive workup process
- Support physicians during vasectomy procedures by managing setup, providing procedural assistance, and ensuring proper sterilization of instruments.
- Support physicians and advanced practice providers in patient care
- Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care
- Prepare and maintain patient charts for upcoming visits
- Support patient onboarding and initiation of care plans
- Conduct outreach for appointment reminders and missed visits
- Track patient progress and referral status in the EMR
- Assist with clinic flow and ensure a positive patient experience
- Support administrative and operational workflows as needed

Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in New York (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Fertility, urology, or reproductive health experience preferred
- Experience with care coordination or patient-facing administrative support preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed
